Art Experience
My work as a visual artist is an extension of the same ideas I bring into the classroom — curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to take creative risks.
I primarily work in glass, a medium that demands both precision and adaptability. The process is physical, immediate, and constantly evolving, requiring focus, problem-solving, and a strong awareness of material.
In addition to glass, I explore other forms of visual art that allow for experimentation with design, color, and composition. Across all media, I’m interested in the balance between control and discovery — shaping an idea while remaining open to where the process leads.
Maintaining an active creative practice keeps me grounded as an artist and informs my teaching, allowing me to bring real-world experience, problem-solving, and reflection into the classroom.
