Performance Experience

Performance has always been a central part of my work as an artist and educator. As an actor and director, I value presence, clarity, and the collaborative nature of ensemble work.

Whether on stage or in rehearsal, I’m drawn to the process of building a shared story — one that relies on trust, listening, and creative risk-taking. These experiences directly inform my teaching, where I aim to create the same sense of focus, connection, and ownership for students.

As a director, I focus on helping performers make clear, intentional choices and develop a strong sense of character and storytelling. I believe in balancing structure with exploration — giving performers the tools they need while allowing space for discovery.

As a performer, I value the discipline of preparation alongside the ability to stay present and responsive in the moment. That balance between structure and spontaneity is something I bring into both rehearsal and the classroom.
