Greetings

I’m A.J. Kepka — educator, actor, performer, and artist.

My Story

I teach Visual Arts and Drama, working with students to build confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of voice. My classroom is a space where students are encouraged to take creative risks, explore new ideas, and grow through the process — not just the final product.

My background is rooted in performance. As an actor and director, I value presence, ensemble work, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and authentically. I bring those same principles into both the theater space and the art room, helping students develop confidence on stage and off.

In addition to teaching, I maintain an active creative practice in glass and visual art. Staying connected to my own work keeps me grounded in the creative process and allows me to bring that experience directly into the classroom.

At the core of my teaching is a simple goal: help students find their voice, take ownership of their ideas, and see themselves as capable, creative thinkers.
